Overview
The increased demand for renewable energy has opened up new opportunities with many companies diversifying their business by offering solar system installations. As with any form of work at height, installing these systems can expose workers to risks to their health & safety so it is essential that all those installing or planning to install these systems, have had sufficient work at height training.

Safesite's Work at Height for Solar Installers Training Course is essential for installers, managers and supervisors who have a responsibility for, or are involved in the installation of solar systems.
Course Content Includes:
- Work at height (WAH)
- Related legislation
- Review and practical application of WAH legislation
- WAH hierarchy of controls
- Review of equipment selection
- Inspection and usage of PPE
- Safe access solutions (Practical session on roof structure)
- WAH risk assessments

Additional Details
Safesite's Work at Height for Solar Installers Training Course is a practical course. Delegates will be required to bring their own PPE (suitable site clothing and steel toe-capped footwear), however specific Work at Height PPE will be provided by Safesite.

Course duration and price
Safesite's Work at Height for Solar Installers course is a one day course.
Training is held at our new Crawley training facility and costs £99.00 plus VAT per delegate.
