The Facilities Management section of Worthing Borough Council recognised that the roof areas on these premises required regular access in order to maintain and repair air conditioning units and plant as well as to carry out routine cleaning. Therefore a permanent safe method of working at height for each property was sought. Safesite Ltd was able to propose a practical and cost effective scheme for each building by offering various different products. For example, the System 2000 guardrail installed at the Connaught Theatre will have a dramatic effect by reducing falls from height risks to a minimum and providing a safe environment for maintenance staff and contractors alike. Martin Perryman of Worthing Borough Council, was not only pleased with the completed contract, but also commented on the performance and co-operation of the Safesite Installation Team.
