Helping Companies Tackle Fire Safety Training

Building on its reputation as a leading provider of Health & Safety training, Safesite has introduced two new fire training courses, enabling it to provide clients with a comprehensive range of fire safety training. Safesite’s new 1 day Introduction to Fire Risk Assessments provides managers and those responsible for health and safety with the knowledge and understanding to be able to manage the fire risk assessment process in their premises. The more in-depth 2 day Fire Safety Risk Assessment course provides a comprehensive look at the concept of Fire Risk Assessment and focuses on the preventative and protective fire safety measures that will help to effectively reduce the level of fire risk in offices, small retail and similar premises. With the introduction of these new Fire Risk Assessment courses, Safesite can now provide companies with a full range of courses designed for different levels of responsibility. For example, the Fire Safety Training is designed for all personnel while the Fire Warden and Fire Safety Manager courses provide detailed information for nominated fire wardens and managers respectively. Safesite’s range of health and safety training courses such as asbestos, DDA, COSHH, manual handling and working at height are designed to provide companies with an in-depth understanding of legal duties when it comes to specific health and safety matters. All courses are run by experienced safety practitioners who are also City & Guilds qualified to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. NEW IOSH COURSES

Following the introduction of core IOSH courses, Safesite is now one of the few companies offering a comprehensive range of Health and Safety Training Courses run by City & Guilds qualified trainers. IOSH Managing Safely provides managers and supervisors with the ability to tackle health and safety issues in the workplace through the application of recognised management principles. IOSH Working Safely is designed to provide staff who have no supervisory or managerial responsibilities with an understanding of how to work safely, and why. Safesite’s range of health and safety courses are also accredited by the RIBA and supported by the RICS and include training on areas such as asbestos, fire, COSHH, manual handling and working at height. All courses are designed to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of legal duties when it comes to specific health and safety matters and include a short assessment at the end for certification purposes. Safesite’s courses are run by experienced safety practitioners who are also City & Guilds qualified to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

MAJOR FM CONTRACT FOR SAFESITE

Safesite Ltd has secured the contract with a major facilities management company to provide comprehensive roof safety equipment for around 600 properties under its control. The contract is worth in the region of £2 million and includes full surveys of the properties and the installation of roof safety equipment.
